Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Tundrelle (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit or buy from tundrelle.com, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. By using our store you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to emails, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order details, and the payment information needed to complete your purchase.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the store, we collect certain information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your device and browser type, operating system, IP address, the pages and products you view, the links you click, and how you arrived at and move through our site.

Payment information. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Payments are processed by our payment providers over an encrypted connection, and we receive only the limited confirmation data needed to manage your order (see our Payment Policy).

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • process, fulfil, ship, and confirm your orders;
  • send order, shipping, and delivery notifications;
  • respond to your questions and provide customer support;
  • process returns, exchanges, and refunds;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and misuse;
  • operate, maintain, and improve our store and product range;
  • send marketing communications where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law; and
  • measure and improve our advertising, and show you relevant ads.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to operate the store (for example, to remember the items in your cart), to understand how the store is used, and to measure and improve our marketing.

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads (including the Google conversion and remarketing tags) and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel. These technologies set cookies and may collect information about your visit in order to measure advertising performance and to show you Tundrelle ads on other websites and apps.

You can control cookies through the cookie banner on our site and through your browser settings. Declining advertising or analytics cookies will not prevent you from browsing or purchasing. Where required, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed to run the store, namely with:

  • our ecommerce platform (Shopify), which hosts the store;
  • payment processors, to take payment and issue refunds;
  • shipping and fulfilment partners, to deliver your order;
  • our email and customer-support providers;
  • the advertising and analytics partners named above; and
  • professional advisers, or authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.

These providers may only use your information to perform services for us, and are required to protect it.

5. International transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where information is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

6. Data retention

We keep order and account information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, provide our services, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymise it. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact sensitive information to us only through secure channels.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request that we correct inaccurate information;
  • request that we delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request a portable copy of your information; and
  • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@tundrelle.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any such email; we may still send you non-promotional messages about your orders. See also our Your Privacy Choices page.

9. Children

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

Our store may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
